Swimming & Boating

Sebec Lake's clear waters provide excellent swimming, boating, and water sports.

If you bring your own boat we have a concrete boat launching ramp and rent dock space for our guest's use.We also rent 14' and 16' aluminum boats with 9.9 H.P. or 20 H.P. motors and canoes by the day or week.

Note: Motor rentals do not include gas and oil and are subject to 5% sales tax.

Hiking & Biking

You can wander right from your cabin door into the woods, along a riverbank, or along seemingly endless miles of dirt roads. In only 20 minutes, you can drive to the Borestone Mountain Wildlife Sanctuary, and hike to the summit of the mountain for spectacular 360° view of Sebec Lake and other surrounding mountain ranges. Or you can hike one of the many nearby mountains of the Moosehead Lake Region.

Simpler Pleasures

Porch of Goff CampOf course there are simpler pleasures in the great outdoors, such as antiquing, picnicking, berry picking, bird watching, nature photography, or a scenic drive. We also provide sports equipment at no charge for volleyball, badminton, and croquette, upon request. Or enjoy simply reading and relaxing on the porch of your cabin, while listening to the sound of water cascading over the waterfalls outside your door.

Explore Nearby Areas

Venture out and explore the magnificent Moosehead Lake Region, Baxter State park where you can climb Mt. Katahdin, Maine's famous coastline, and the many factory outlet stores. The activities are only limited by your imagination. For more ideas of nearby activities, check out area interests.
